Consultation relating to Dunston Grange, Chesterfield, is being undertaken by Pegasus Group on behalf of William Davis Homes.
How will we consult people?
There are a number of different ways in which we will try to involve as many people as possible in our consultation and encourage everyone to share their thoughts and views on our proposals for Dunston Grange, Chesterfield.
You can make your views known on the proposals, give us alternative suggestions, and let us know any issues that we need to consider to inform our proposals.
A leaflet has been delivered to local households and businesses, letting people know about our initial ideas for the site, and allowing them to make comments and let us know about any issues we should consider.
You can also leave any comments you have on the proposals on the ‘Make Your Views Known’.
The development proposals for the site include the following:
Up to 500 additional new homes including affordable housing to meet local needs;
Access to the site would be from the existing Skylarks development from Dunston Lane and a new access from Dunston Road;
A Local Centre with retail units and associated service uses;
Reserve land for a potential new 1 form entry primary school; and
Significant areas of public open space including the reinstatement of the cricket pitch and pavilion.
William Davis Homes intend to submit an outline application for this development proposal in July 2021. Following the submission of a planning application, Chesterfield Borough Council will consult local residents and other interested parties before reaching a decision.
